We are seeking drivers to join our ever growing team In Mona on Anglesey in North Wales. This is a 14 week Temp to Perm opportunity should it suit both the driver and client.
New Passes considered subject to passing driver's assessment - A sound understanding of TACHO rules is a must!
Key Responsibilities:
👑 Safely operate HGVs to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
👑 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
👑 Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and handling of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
👑 Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
👑 Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and driving best practices to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the cargo being transported.
👑 Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
👑Valid HGV driving license.
👑CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
👑Previous experience as an HGV driver preferred.
👑Good knowledge of road networks and geography.
👑Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
👑Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
👑Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
👑Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight stays as required.
👑 Ideally, you'll be over 25 and have a minimum 6 months experience driving HGV's, But we will consider otherwise subject to passing drivers assessment.
Compensation - £41,600 per annum equivalent, excluding the night out allowance of £25 per night out.
