About the Role
Royalty Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver to join our team based out of Bolton. This role involves transporting materials to various sites using tipper vehicles. You'll be responsible for safely operating tipper trucks, completing journeys on time, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
We offer a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, providing a consistent work-life balance with opportunities for both day and night shifts. If you have tipper experience, that's a bonus—but if not, don't worry; we provide full training for those who are new to tipper operations.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and Operate: Safely operate HGV Class 1 tipper trucks for scheduled deliveries and collections.
Material Transport: Collect and deliver aggregates, soil, and other materials to designated locations.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and legal regulations to ensure safe and compliant operations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct basic vehicle checks, report any issues, and ensure the tipper is in top working order.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle checks, and any incidents.
Requirements
HGV Class 1 (C+E) License: Valid and in good standing.
Tipper Experience: Preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
CPC and Tachograph Card: Up-to-date and mandatory.
Flexible Availability: Willingness to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 4 on, 4 off schedule.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
Reliability and Punctuality: Essential for maintaining our high standard of service.
