We are seeking drivers to join our ever growing team here on Anglesey. We supply many logistics companies out of Anglesey and are looking for more drivers to join the team!
New Passes considered subject to passing driver's assessment - However, a sound understanding of TACHO rules is a must!
Key Responsibilities:
👑 Safely operate HGVs to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
👑 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
👑 Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and handling of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
👑 Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
👑 Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and driving best practices to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the cargo being transported.
👑 Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
👑Valid HGV driving license.
👑CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
👑Previous experience as an HGV driver preferred.
👑Good knowledge of road networks and geography.
👑Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
👑Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
👑Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
👑Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight stays as required.
👑 Ideally, you'll be over 25 and have a minimum 6 months experience driving HGV's
Compensation - £41,600 per annum equivalent, excluding night out allowance of £25 per night out.
